We were chosen to be part of the State Sponsored CWP Program!! We are pleased to be able to serve Sumter County. This means free CWP Classes for YOU. If you are interested, please read this entire article.

Are you ready to exercise your Second Amendment rights with confidence and responsibility? The State of South Carolina is offering Free Concealed Weapons Permit (CWP) Classes to ensure you are well-equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to legally carry a weapon. You MUST NOT have fear of using firearms prior to the CWP class. It is advised that you get some trigger time in with a friend, relative, or come and see us prior to taking the course.

What You’ll Learn:

• Legal Framework: Dive into the laws surrounding concealed carry, including where you can and cannot carry.
• Safety Protocols: Comprehensive firearm safety training to prevent accidents.
• Live Fire Exercise: Hands-on experience at the range (bring your own firearm, ammunition, and safety gear. If you do not have your own gear YET, please contact us prior to the class start). It is advised that you get some trigger time in with a friend, relative, or come and see us prior to taking the course.

Class Details:

• Location: Training will be provided here at Ricochet Range if you choose one of our four instructors.
• Schedule: Multiple sessions available, with at least two classes per month in each county.
• Registration: Easy online sign-up. Secure your spot today!

Requirements:

• Attendees must bring:
  • A handgun capable of holding 5 rounds at a minimum. (If you own one, or one will be provided for the course with a fee. This fee covers the ammo, if using one of ours) No single action revolvers. It is advised that you get some trigger time in with a friend, relative, or come and see us prior to taking the course.
  • 25 rounds of ammunition
  • Holster, Belt, Eye, and Ear protection

These free classes are offered only on specific days of the month and the sign up process is conducted solely online.
